Drowsy Poet Coffee Shop - Lynchburg

I usually go in there because they are very good. but the last time I came in, I had a breakfast sandwich that was very good. better than I thought it was. So I'll be back to breakfast.

Fantastic coffee, amazing sandwiches (poplar forest is my favorite) and when they go without a milton milkshake, they really disappeared.

Being here for 20 years never had anything I didn't like. the milton is the second, I am convinced that the milton of paradise lost. this place is cozy and always has fantastic service. the drowsy poet is surely a hidden gem of lynchburg.

I absolutely love visiting Drowsy Poet! The sandwiches are amazing, and they serve the best hot chocolate around. My favorite sandwich combo is the Poplar Forest with spicy bean dip—it's incredible! They also have cozy little nooks perfect for reading and enjoying a peaceful lunch.

My favorite place to meet friends and study. the cafe has such a lovely and relaxed environment as Drowsy Poet is inside Givens Bookstore. There is tons of seating all over, even when the cafe is busy it's never overly noisy or crowded due to the elbow room of the building. It's also totally permissible to buy coffee and wander around to browse books. What more could you ask for?The coffee, pastries, sandwiches and soups are always delicious. The staff are personable and sweet. So thankful for this gem.
