Alpineum Kaffeehaus Bar - Luzern

Was below my expectations. I would have expected much more in this fantastic location. The food is very, very special and didn't taste good. Attention, pictures online can come from events, these dishes are not normally available. It wasn't just us. PS: the answer is not particularly professional...

No breakfast. Only sell a farmer's platter with liver, offal, lard etc. Not for veggies! Edit: very arrogant and cheeky answer. It's a shame, I would have expected more :

Cozy little café, delicious menus at lunchtime, in the evening the café becomes a smoking bar with good cocktails.

Very nice outdoor area. I recommend their iced coffee.

Lucerne is a an expensive place so how pleasant to find a relaxed vibe and reasonable prices right beside the lion statue, so an added bonus was watching large groups being marched in to see the statue and marched out again on a strict timetable what a shame they couldn’t stop for a beer. But pick your moment and the statue is really worth a visit incredibly powerful if you know the background.
