We received our meats in 3 small side containers, not enough to even feed one person, only received 3 of the four sides which were small not medium and didn?t receive any rolls. Do not order from this restaurant ifyou value your money! You will not receive what you ordered. This restaurant will rip you off!!
Employees were playing personal music over the restaurant speakers with explicit lyrics. My chicken was absolutely dry and the turkey was extremely salty almost unbearably so. They were out of almost all varieties of chips (only had plain lays and bakedBBQ). Soda fountain triggers were grungy. Despite being right down the road from me, I will not return here should I want BBQ.It's a shame because my little kids liked eating here.
The food was disappointing. The barbecue ribs were very dry and burnt, and they tasted like they were two days old. I wasn't satisfied at all and ended up leaving my entire plate untouched.
Terrible experience! The service and food were disappointing. The staff at the counter were rude, and I felt like I was a nuisance to them. My barbecue beef brisket was excessively fatty. While I understand that brisket naturally contains some fat, this sandwich was just overwhelmingly greasy. It was inedible. There was no barbecue sauce on the sandwich, so I asked for some on the side, but they acted annoyed as if I was inconveniencing them. I mean, it’s a barbecue place—sorry for asking for barbecue sauce! We rarely eat barbecue, but I had a craving and thought I’d give this place a try, and I regret that decision. Additionally, they promote the "Big Yellow" cup, but instead, you get a regular styrofoam cup that you simply toss away, even though they still charge you for the Big Yellow cup. Save your money and time! It’s unfortunate because the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service and food did not live up to expectations.
We've dined here several times in the past, but our most recent experience was disappointing. I'm not sure if there's new management, but it feels like a Dickey's franchise that's gone off track. The pulled pork and mac and cheese tasted awful, and there were no fried foods available—it's unclear whether their fryers were broken or if they just chose not to use them. Additionally, they didn't have sweet tea or the signature yellow cups, among other things. It seems like they're cutting corners at the expense of both the food quality and the overall dining experience.
