We did not expect such a place in wittenberg and were surprised by the huge selection of vegan cakes, some also raw and/or gluten-free. also beautiful outside seats in the beautiful inside courtyard. you should try if you have the chance. update august 2022: the cake is still good, but the service today was unacceptable. I reserved a table for our group a week before and received a positive confirmation. as it rained today, I called to make sure we get a table. when we arrived there, the two teenage girls at the theke (the workers open) knew nothing about our reservation. so we had to wait until a larger table was available. After we had set ourselves, we waited for the waitress to take our order to the table as she did with other guests. After this did not happen for 15 minutes, we went to the counter to order. Coffee and drink came after some time, followed by a single piece of cake (of which we ordered after another 10 minutes or so. my cake pieces arrived 45 minutes after our arrival. (we talk about cake that waited at the refrigerator two meters next to our table and the caffe was half empty. After we asked for the rest of the cake pieces, another came and the info that the rest of the pieces had to be prepared, which lasted another 20 minutes. after 80 minutes we complained and asked for our order. it takes 7 minutes (sic! the waitress said. So we waited 20 minutes. then we got up, paid and left. at this point, about two hours after our arrival, a person of our group had received everything they ordered, a part of what they ordered, and one no dead at all. there were no excuses or explanations from the waitress and I have the impression that she didn't notice anything, went wrong with our visit. in the did we wanted to show some non-vegan friends how good this place and their cake is. they can imagine how this visit has reached the whole opposite. visit the visitors: order the cake to go and wait at the counter until they get it, then sit outside on a bank in the park and enjoy it. updated by the previous review on 2021-08-28

I really liked the caffe. eating was great, I loved the wonderful salad with many toppings and the pancakes. they also have many different cakes. the atmosphere is great and the staff very nice.

Beautiful place with different vegan cake options. menu says there is a vegan breakfast also available on Sundays. the square is also beautifully decorated with an artist exhibition.
