Dan's Steakhouse - Luray

We stopped for lunch. We had wings, French fries and Koleslaw. For dessert I had strawberry and Apple Crumble and coffee. The food was great. The staff was attentive and friendly. We're local, so we definitely come back to the steak dinner. While it, I found out that their current menu is very different from the menu published online. The previous owner had published an extensive menu online. The current owner has a streamline menu.

Went with the wife during the visit. We enjoy eating local places where we go. That was one of the best we were. Atmosphere was nice, food was amazing. Steaks were properly cooked, beautiful and juicy. Desserts were great, my wife is still looking for Brownie. The staff was very nice. The owner we were allowed to talk to was a kind of fun of what we saw. It was a Friday night and he went around and asked if someone was interested when the karaoke night held and it would be about an hour from then. My wife wanted to see it. We have and had a good time listening to some locals. Thank you for this experience, if we find our way back in this way, we will definitely be over. Keep the big work.

The decor is secret and gives you a feeling of family like cosiness immediately... Adored by Abby, who was sweet like cake and waited for me quickly.... The rolls were warm and delicate, so my butter immediately melted, yes.... the steak, potatoes and gazed vegetables were all excellent!! When I'm back in the Shenandoah Valley, I'll get Steak back in Dan's Steak House

Came down to VA from NY to visit Shenendoah. We stopped at Dan’s for dinner and there was a 20 minute wait so we decided to wait at the bar. Best experience ever. We met the owner who is absolutely incredible. He is so attentive to the needs of his customers and you can tell that they are his first priority. Everyone here is SO friendly and so welcoming. Kathy was amazing and sweet- she made me a wonderful drink that wasnt on the menu. We ordered the steak, loaded potatoes and the chili- all delicious and loaded with flavor! If you’re in the area and you’re not sure where to go- this is the place for you! You will NOT be disappointed!

Our dinners tonight was very good. We both ordered the 12oz sirloin with 2 sides. I can honestly say our steaks were some of the best steaks we have had and tender and cooked exactly how it was ordered. The smoked Mac n cheese was delicious. The staff is very inviting and friendly. Our waitress, Katie. Was very attentive and provided us with excellent service. A must if you are ever in the Shenandoah Valley !!!
