This local bar attracts a lot of regulars who were enjoying themselves, chatting, and playing pool when we arrived. There were about a dozen people there, but surprisingly, no music was playing at that time. When the jukebox was on, the volume was just right—loud enough to appreciate the tunes without needing to yell to be heard. While there was no food for sale, we learned that the owner occasionally brings in snacks for game nights. The bar has TVs for watching sports, although they don’t show pay-per-view events. Their game day special offers $1 beers whenever the Saints score. Our bartender, Dara, was really friendly and welcoming. We didn’t notice any draft beers available, but the bottled options were reasonably priced. The ambiance was not fancy, but the place was clean and well-kept. There was also plenty of parking available on-site.

The atmosphere is excellent for a nice time out. The price per person is around $30–50. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

The bartender was friendly, and the other customers were warm and welcoming as well!

I've been here before, and Leslie is fantastic. However, tonight was a different experience. The bartender was incredibly rude. I politely asked for her name and introduced myself and my friend. When she asked where we were from and I mentioned we were from New York (here for hurricane recovery), she responded, "I don't like New Yorkers; they're all rude." I said, "Not all of us," but she just made a face and walked away. We decided to leave after that. After owning bars for 20 years, I would never accept that kind of disrespect towards a customer!
