Carlos - Lünen

We've been at the Lünen restaurant three times now, and I can say that the food is very good. Apparently the other branch is in Dortmund, but I wasn't there. Every time the food was of a good standard, and... the service was very good except this last time! We were a party of 4; the other couple didn't get their ancestors a problem, but we waited and waited. After 30 minutes our starters showed up, and of course the others were finished at that time, so a little disgusting. To make things even worse, we still started with our starter when ALL showed up the main courses! I could understand if the place was full, but it wasn't busy, but not full. And for this embarrassment I only give 3 out of 5. And visit the relaxation room you will be pleasantly surprised.

Nice, chic ambience, nice staff, cheap prices. The menu is relatively short to the many appetizers...a good sign, the food is delicious and reminds strongly of Spanish cuisine

I was and am an absolute fan of Carlos in Lünen. The team always works professionally, friendly and reliable. The food is super delicious, authentic Portuguese and the atmosphere something very special!

On 23.02.2022 as couple. the two ordered portions, fish and ibericospies were oversalted, the salat also, for that the prices were very picked. the statement of the staff: fish stocks is always the same. the food came to the table after a longer waiting period, which was added later. the restaurant was once an attraction, but we think it was very neglected.

A few days ago, I was there for the first time with my colleagues. I ordered lamming and inlaid champignons as well as mineral water. the lamb chops five at the number were thin and too long grilled. I missed, dice or smoked mediteran. the imprisoned champignons were a sweat. a little smiling with maybe 7 champignon quarters! that came to all of the dose! a warm marinade of some edgy and plank oil as well as a few red paprika pieces. I tied the operation as if the champignons were. the service had either no warning or no lust appropriate to enter. they are only imprisoned. the quartered dosenchampignons beaten to book at 3,80€. with which right? this is nepp! overall I paid €16.80 for the ordered foods that I would have created better elsewhere. also, four fly constantly flying around our food (we did not sit outside, but in closed local) and never nervt.
