Ristorante Pepe Nero

Lovely little Italian restaurant in Lubbenau, good service, inexpensive meal of salad, proscuitto and mushroom pasta, and a nice carafe of cold white wine.A simple yet lovely dinner on a hot night.

Great pizza and pasta. Very busy. We were lucky to get a table, lots of people were turned away because they didn't have reservations.

We love the Spreewald, especially the area around Lübbenau, but after a few days we usually get tired of the local cuisine offered in most of the local restaurants. Pepe Nero is one of few truly Italian restaurants we found in the area and has really fantastic food. At first glance the prices seemed a bit high, but the portions and the quality definitely justify the prices. We ate pizza and calzone,each had ½ ltr of good wine & 1 Grappa and 1 Limoncello. We paid EUR 52,20.They offer free WLAN. Service is very friendly. Special wishes are no problem.It was worth every penny.
