Toro Burger - Lubbock

The service at ANNEX was disappointing as the waitress did not take our drink order, the mimosa pitcher arrived without glasses, and my glass had a carving in it. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and we had to request butter, which they did not have (we had ordered waffles). My food was cold and had to be reheated, but the egg yolks were overcooked. The Hollandaise sauce was thin, broken, and bitter, possibly due to the lack of butter. One person in our group did not receive their food until after the rest of us had finished. We were not offered refills on our mimosas, despite ordering a pitcher. The manager had to step in to take our orders for the bill after our waitress claimed she had already brought them.

Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant was pretty bad. The staff seemed unhelpful and poorly trained, with little desire to serve. Despite the restaurant being less than half full, it took a long time to receive our food and our drinks were constantly empty. One of the burgers was undercooked and had to be sent back, which took an additional 20 minutes to receive. They also forgot to bring our fries and the onion rings were cold. On a positive note, my breakfast burger was delicious and the fries were tasty. However, we were surprised to find that almost every item on our bill was over a dollar more than listed on the menu, with the excuse that prices had recently increased. It would have been nice if they had informed us beforehand or updated their menus. The manager's response was also lacking, offering no solution to our complaints. Despite its nice appearance, the restaurant was ultimately ruined by its unprofessional staff.

My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I had to get up multiple times to ask for utensils and napkins, eventually having to go to the bar to get them. It took about 20 minutes to receive my Mimosa, although it was great. The chilaquiles and crab cakes Eggs Benedict were just okay. I prefer the locations and service at Toroburger Bar in El Paso.

Food was amazing, beer cold and served in an ice cup, burgers were from this world. Our waitress was super polite and amazing. Juan, the manager was great!!! This place is lucky to have him. I would even recommend the All American Burger to the Snobbiest of Burgerschlangen. The fried pickles were so good that I couldn't even make a picture of it. The children loved the terrace!

My ?well done? burger. I picked this up to go and I heard a moo coming from the bag and opened it to find this. The order was wrong and when I went back up there the cook threw his hands up and had a little fit ! It was a rough experience although they did give me my money back. Lost my appetite
