Visit California last summer, for a USA Boxing National tournament, we were looking for something home made authentic! We ate one of the BEST Caldo de Res soups!! Very humble hospitable family business. We had to come back this year for another bowl! This will be our new GO-TO place every time we visit! God bless your business Montelongo family! Some of the best authentic Mexican food in the city. The enchiladas are cheesy, the tacos are delicious, and the hot sauce is the homemade way you wish you could replicate.

I don't like the fact that there are hours on Sunday. It could be open until 3 of a day or 1:30 the next. Or next time it will only be done. We all like the cowboys, but only close to satisfy the manager to have his own party. I just stop going there and finding more restaurants.

The customer at the front is usually not interested and uninformative, but the dining area staff are simply wonderful. The food is perfect, doesn't stand so good or bad, it's just food. I wish there was a better selection of tacos, such as tongue, tripe, cesina, etc.? the selection is actually quite limited and the dishes all taste the same, regardless of preparation.

Here in lubbock for the weekend and found this place on google.. you walk in and smell the aroma of tex mex cooking. The place a nice a clean..it got packed quickly. The staff are awesome nice and friendly. Food was delicious not over powering with all the spices so you can enjoy it. Definitely will come back on our next visit ?
