The Galley - Lowestoft

Staff were lovely and we received our order quickly. the chips were very tasty and reasonably priced, definitely some of the best i've had! will definitely return when back on holiday

Located by the entry to the South Beach promenade, I visited The Galley during lockdown restrictions when only takeaway service was available. Luckily there is plenty of outdoor bench seating adjacent, with views out to the North Sea. My sausage and chips was quickly served and was a decent quality for the price. I shall be happy to visit again.

Great service during a busy sunday lunchtime. Light, crispy battered haddock and chip-shop chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Not greasy at all. Fresh and well cooked. Very dog friendly too with great sea views.

Had breakfast today and I have to say living in all my 31 years, this is the best breakfast I ever had, massive compliments to the chef also compliments to the bar staff and general cleanliness high recomend deffo coming back

After we spent the day near the nightoft with my class, we were all very hungry and look forward to our meal. we pre-ordered before school and when we arrived, everything was ready. the personal and the children were treated to a huge, freshly cooked meal, some of the best sausage/fish and chips I had everywhere. the personal was so accentuated and could not do enough to make our visit perfect. really cannot thank them all enough, would thoroughly recommend the galley to anyone who visits the opposite. to next year.
