Fuse Bistro - Lowell

DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is lovely, with great live jazz music, and the place is clean and welcoming! We started with the General Tso’s Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. For the main course, I chose the pasta special while my friends had Korean BBQ chicken tenders and grilled steak tips. Every dish was fantastic, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals!

I can't recommend this place enough. The atmosphere, created by both the staff and the regulars, is incredibly warm and inviting. The food is quite delicious, and the seasonal menu offers plenty of variety to keep things interesting. While the drink selection isn't extravagant, it definitely caters to your needs. However, what truly stands out is the staff—they're exceptional. They work hard and are genuinely friendly. If you order a complex cocktail during busy times, they'll politely explain the situation and suggest waiting until later to make it. This is the kind of atmosphere everyone should expect from their local spot. With friendly regulars, dedicated staff, a unique menu, and a welcoming ambiance, Fuse Bistro truly shines. When we walked in there were locals at the bar, but the dining room was empty. While this was cause for concern, we stayed and we were glad we did. My girlfriend loved her steak and cheese style sandwich. I'd come back for just the sweet potato fries alone. I ordered the tuna tacos and was disappointed, especially since it read so damn good on the menu. All the toppings didn't marry into anything flavorful and the tuna itself was lost under all of it. It's pricier than it should be and while I'd be willing to try something else from here, it'll be awhile before we return for this reason.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this restaurant. I went with some friends for dinner before a show, and it started off well with delicious appetizers and drinks. However, the dinner service was problematic. Our waitress seemed to vanish for a while, and the food took an eternity to arrive. When it finally did, some dishes were either overcooked or undercooked, and the sweet potato fries had a rancid taste. When the waitress finally returned, we received the bill and had to leave quickly to avoid being late. I won't be returning.

Great local place with great food and atmosphere. They offer a scratch kitchen with a dietary sensitive menu. It's in an old firehouse and offers outdoor dining along one of the cobblestone streets in downtown Lowell.
