50 Warren At Umass Lowell Inn And Conference Center

I made a reservation through OpenTable, which was confirmed, but we had to push it back by 15 minutes because we were late, and that change was accepted. I was looking forward to dining there since I had heard great things about the restaurant and even requested a window seat to enjoy a view of the canal. However, to my surprise, the restaurant was closed when we arrived! This raises the question of why my reservation wasn’t canceled or rescheduled from the start. Instead, we ended up having to eat at the bar, which had only three tables. The staff mentioned that the management needed to discuss things with OpenTable, possibly to address issues like making adjustments for mosquitoes. It didn't seem like they were taking care of us at all. The bar was not the atmosphere I had envisioned for celebrating my mother’s birthday before a show at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. If I had known that 50 Warren wasn’t open, I would have chosen to book somewhere else. Ultimately, it feels like there is a disconnect between OpenTable and the restaurants they promote.

The food was very good, but I only gave it 4 stars because by 1:30 p.m., some options, particularly the desserts, had run out and weren't replenished quickly enough. I prefer this place for Mother's Day over others because the value for the price and the spaciousness of the venue make it feel less crowded and more enjoyable than many other hotels offering similar brunches.

After reading numerous reviews about 50 Warren, we decided to give it a try last Friday night. The service was exceptional, and we were the only two diners there at 7 PM. Our appetizers were adequate; they were nicely prepared but somewhat bland. I would consider returning, though I hope they can liven up the menu a bit.

The restaurant has a spectacular view of one of the channels in the city of lowell surrounded by beautiful buildings and fabulous stone art. our server was very nice. fast and capable. the food was good and the portions were generous.

Waiter was great. Waterfall outside the window was pretty. Food was well presented. Restaurant has not been found by the public difficult to find. Must park in garage.
