The At Patowmack Farm - Lovettsville

The locally sourced foods along with the excellent wine pairings made for quite the enjoyable dining experience. No detail was spared from the different china for each course to the beautiful, edible flowers adorning the different plates. The waiter described each course with great knowledge and enthusiasm. The water glass was never empty and neither was the majestic view. If you are looking for a unique, relaxing, and enjoyable dining experience with first rate farm to table cuisine, look no further. I'm in the restaurant business and it's hard to impress me. This place was incredible. The thought that went into each course was hard to find at even 5 star restaurants. Well done to everyone that works there!

Place is absolutely incredible. Drove from DC. Food was so incredible. Everything was fresh and all of the locally grown food had so many different flavors. I don’t have an huge palette but everything was so good and I even tried a few new foods. Our waiter (I think his name was John) was so nice and so incredibly helpful. Will be going for years.

Hard to believe I have lived in this area for >25 years and only recently heard of this restaurant. The setting, high up overlooking the Potomac River, is splendid. Warmer weather allows for outside dining. The menus is progressive and the same for all diners unless special accommodations have been made. This is truly high end dining. Many(9) courses, all just enough, but not too much. You will leave sated and satisfied. Wine list is excellent. Food is seasonal, so the menu changes frequently to accomodate this. Most food, except fish is sourced locally, including on the farm itself. We celebrated my brother's birthday and the staff was appropriately attentive, especially our primary server John. This is a truly unique dining experience and not to be missed if one enjoys food and service that takes a back seat to no other.

Great food, creative, fresh great service, but very expensive. Inflexible on tasting menu choices, even for seemingly minor substitutions within the menu choices. But truly is an experience.
