Leaves and Fishes - LOVEDALE

Amazing food and ambience. Leaves and Fishes is a delightfully appointed restaurant in a lovely setting overlooking a small lake. As a group we found the food exquisite although the wine list is very limited. Ironic given the location in the middle of the Hunter Valley. Even so the wines available were very nice although a little pricey. Definitely worth a visit for lunch and we'll be return customers. The chilli lime coriander chicken dish is to die for!

Nice setting and very nice lunch, the wine poor was on the small side but was was a nice drop. Staff helpful as well.

Gorgeous decor, nice outlook and vibe. Food was really good especially the Ocean Trout and Whole Snapper. Need some more options for sides on the menu. Recommend asking to sit towards the back of restaurant with water view

Travelled out to this great location for a relaxing lunch. Great food, lovely setting. Really attentive staff and management. Wait person new the menu well and was happy to assist with food and drink choices. Restaurant was not at all busy on the day so service and food was excellent. All of us said we would love to revisit on day when the weather was a little more on the pleasant side not cold and windy.

I had a delicious lunch here a few weeks back with my mum and a friend. Beautiful setting in a quiet and peaceful location. The menu has a good range of choices and all reasonably priced. Service was fantastic and very attentive and helpful. The decor and place settings are creative and well thought out. I saw families, couples and singles all dining here so it was a great place for all. Ill def be back
