The Turk's Head - Louth

I didn't try the food, but the atmosphere felt a bit sticky, both on the floor and the tables. It seems like a great spot for drinks with friends, especially for a younger crowd. However, it was quite cold in there as well.

We made a reservation and arrived on time, but after being seated, we waited over 15 minutes without receiving menus. The noise level was uncomfortably high, and the social distancing between some tables was inadequate. Ultimately, we decided to leave, only to find out that our reservation was canceled just three minutes before we got there. I won’t be making another reservation on a weekend; it seems they prioritize patrons looking for a night out rather than those wanting a relaxed dining experience.

Extremely loud. Felt like we were eating in a nightclub.

The customer service was outstanding—very polite staff. The prices were fantastic, and the quality of the food was excellent!

This was my and the neighbor's first visit to Louth today, and we were invited to dinner. Wow! We are so glad we went! We had the dish of the day, which was lamb and mint. It was the best dish we've ever tasted! It was packed with generous portions of tender lamb and served with chunky chips, fresh vegetables, and rich, thick gravy. It was absolutely divine. We were quickly attended to by the lovely Julie, who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again if we're in the area.
