Misawa Sushi - Louisville

Absolutely love this place! Miss Veedol and Bare Luxury are a favorite. Thunder Jet is light and delicious with a little kick! Hibachi is delicious as well as the ramen bowls. Our service is 5 stars every time we come! We have never had to wait very long! Have also done take out and it hits just right each time!

Misawa is a hidden gem in this awesome foodie town. The service is spectacular and this is after many visits. I have never had a bad meal and am very adventurous with my food choices. The sushi is beyond fresh and delicious. I am very picky about sushi and do not like prepared sauces that sit and are not fresh. The crawfish, shrimp and crab are not imitation and look, taste and smell delicious. I cannot encourage you enough to get out of the chain box restaurants and give them a try because you will not regret one bite. Bon appetit.

Love love love this place. Misawa is small but mighty in taste. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Service is fast friendly and accurate. I could sing praises all day but will stop with this place is a must visit

This place is a wonderful example of what gods creation can do. This place has inspired me to try new things. The sushi is spectacular. When I walk into the door of Misawa then I feel like family. They are so sweet and wonderfully kind to everyone. The food is like people dancing on my tongue. I have never found a thing at this restaurant that I didn’t immediately love.

Definitely not authentic Japanese food! We ordered the beef tataki, but it was just sliced beef with grape tomatoes and red onions—completely inauthentic! The sushi was very mediocre, and the Fried Sunday Morning was soggy. The sashimi was of poor quality and cut way too thick. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place, despite the seemingly good reviews. The service was lacking.
