Hiko A Mon Modern Japanese Downtown

The food was delicious, but the service was horrid. We waited 10 minutes in the front before anyone even came out to talk to us about being seated. Then once we were seated, it was another full 15 minutes before we were asked to order drinks. There were no waiters or bartenders to be found in the entire place.

My husband’s birthday dinner. The wait staff was friendly and very good. The food was very good as well. We generally go to Westport Rd location but they were full so we were able to get in at the downtown location. Wonderful experience and we could hear each other easily as this location is not as big busy as the original one. We will definitely head back downtown regularly!

Delicious food and great service! Hiko-a-mon is always a good choice.

Won’t be returning. Service was terrible. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food to come out and when it did it was extremely over cooked and dry. This restaurant is way overpriced and not worth the visit.

Friendly service and delicious sushi. Made in Japan and Red Samurai rolls recommended! Will be back again!
