Emmy Squared Pizza Louisville

Ordered a gluten free pizza and was served a regular pizza. Wasn't alerted to the error until I had already started eating. They “fixed” it and gave me the pizza for free but I still had a reaction from the regular pizza I did eat. Also there were clearly staffing issues. Had to hunt a waitress down to get a table and it took forever for them to come back to our table at all. Won't be returning.

Absolutely LOVED Emmy Squared Pizza. There was a bit of the wait and the owner was super sweet and gave us complimentary appetizers. The pizza, cheesy garlic bread, and ricotta dip was DELICIOUS! The staff was so nice. Absolutely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We took a group of 7 here last night for a birthday celebration and could not have been happier with the food and service. The cocktails were so good. The pizza and appetizers were wonderful. Whoever is running service here is killing it. I really can’t overstate how impressed we were with the cocktails. We were not expecting that.

Let me start by stating that Emmy Squared is my go to for Detroit style pizza. Other than Buddies in Detroit, Emmy has always been spot on, whether in Williamsburg Brooklyn or Nashville, TN, I could always count on Emmy for a good meal this is the one exception! I first walked in and couldn't find a seat at the empty bar because it hadn't been bussed, same goes for about 75% of the empty tables. The men's room was a mess too! It wasn't for lack of staff as I counted at least five front of house staff. Once seated I was greeted by two very nice staff members: Bryce and Kelsie very friendly and nice conversationalists. I order the regular pie with a Chianti. The pizza was undercooked and soggy (see photos) and not up to the standards that Emmy has set in other restaurants very disappointing. If this was my first experience with Emmy, I would never go to another one. Too bad that the quality was not on par with the Emmy standards.

I had an outstanding experience at Emmy Squared! The food was consistently amazing, and I couldn't get enough of it. But what truly stood out was the impeccable service, especially from Megan, who crafted the best espresso martini I've ever had. I can't recommend this place enough – don't walk, run! I'm from Radcliffe. Lived mostly in Nashville... this restaurant is top tier.
