Aldo's Ristorante Bar - Los Gatos

Aldo's has really great Italian food, including off menu items. Their service is top notch and they have a variety of different seating options for every occasion. Aldo's is definitely one of my favorites for an Italian restaurant in the bay area.

Aldo's has been one of the landmark Italian restaurants in the San Jose area for decades (similar in that way to Il Fornaio). They have a fantastic selection of food, fresh pasta and Gnocchi (I love the Bianca niece aka Snow White gnocchi), veals fish and even a really tasty eggplant parmesan dish. The service is always great and the location feels open and spacious yet also inviting. They often have a number of specials so it is always a treat to try something new when you visit. The bar has many options so when you come here please expect a full dinner experience. Nowadays there are many great Italian options in the area, but this one has remained among my favorites.

Excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. The squid ink linguini special was incredible and the short rib tortelloni was absolutely delicious. Friendly and attentive staff made this an awesome experience.

Just recently had a chance to visit this place, I wanted to try Italian but some real Italian not this usual plates, we heard this place was great so me and a friend went by.. we met the owners of the place as well. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great with music and the way everything is decorated.. long story short if your in for Italian give these guys a GO

Food was good and portions were fair for the price. Service was also well done and the owner was very friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
