Tacos El Rojo - Los Angeles County

I wish my health and bank acct could afford to eat here everyday!! But alas, we reserve the treat for Friday nights, it 's tradition now. I am a Mexican born and raised high standard street taco eating (when it comes to authentic home town flavor) picky eater who doesn 't eat Tripas at all. But here And only here I could eat one taco without feeling gross after. I just ask for them really crunchy, they are clean and chopped to perfection. I almost never get asada (Anywhere) Not nowdays anyways This placed turned me to CABEZA! (I also Hadn 't had cabeza in close to 23 years, but the min I tried here I was hooked) so far also the best Al Pastor I 've had. Lengua my 3rd fave is sometimes a hit and miss, but that is everywhere. Salsas are great! And pre-pandemic they had this lemon pickled onion/habanero topping to die for!! I usually call to make sure they 're there since moving out of Pico Rivera because I cannot take the disappointment and let down when they are not there. Husband agrees. We come here every Friday. Unless life throws us a curve ball. We be here after work

Amazing carne asada and the burrito was on point. They only take cash but this is a hidden gem of southeast LA tacos trucks.

Perfect for a quick bite or for feeding a family. The meats are always hot and tasting fresh. The service is usually fast even when there is a crowd. As far as taco trucks go, this is one of my favorite spots.

The tripa tacos here are the best! I've tried them at various places, but I finally found some that are delicious and wonderfully crunchy.

This restaurant was fantastic! The meat was incredibly flavorful, and the tacos were outstanding. The quesadilla was delightful, and the freshly made salsas were all excellent. They also served fresh curtido and cucumbers, which added a nice touch! The place felt clean, and all the food looked and tasted fresh. I also appreciated the availability of tables with chairs for a comfortable dining experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely want to return!
