I had rice noodles with grilled shrimp and extra vegetables, including broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions. Everything was nice and crunchy, and the prices are quite reasonable. I look forward to trying something else on my next visit. The woman with the lovely dark hair and haircut who prepared my takeout was really nice too.
The restaurant offers takeout only, featuring a menu in both Chinese and English, along with pictures for easy navigation. The food has an American-style Chinese flavor and it tastes quite good.
Wok on Fire is a tiny, no-frills restaurant that’s about the size of a shoebox. It’s located in the corner of a 7-Eleven and doesn’t look like much. But it reminds me of home in the Midwest when my grandma used to order over the phone and have it delivered with 99 extra packets of sweet and sour sauce. As for the other dishes... they’re decent. But trust me and stick with what I know tastes great. If you stray from my recommendation, don’t come complaining to me about not liking your order. I’ve already told you what to get!
Place looks like a sweatshop. luckily, you don't eat there. the food, however, is excellent. good price and generous servings. I absolutely love this place.
The fried rice is pretty good for LA. It was hot, fried dark and the chicken was soft. They just need some fried wings/fried pork chops to go with it. West coast chinese food be lacking.
