We all know the ice cream is delicious, but today the staff is what truly stood out. My compliments to Grace who greeted me with a warm smile, patiently answered questions and let me try several flavors (how she held back from throwing a spoon at my head is beyond me . So good! I got the Gooey chocolate brownie and it was definitely as described! This place is hugely popular in the area and it’s located on a very popular road in Venice as well. Try to stop by and get some ice cream if you can! I will say the staff was kind and friendly which is always nice too.

We were walking down Abbot Kinney Blvd, taking in the sights and window shopping, when we were hit with the most incredible smell. Followed it into this ice cream store where we discovered they were making waffle cones in the back. Amazing. They let you split 2 flavors in a scoop which is great for indecisive people like me

Cornflake Cookies w/ Marionberry Jam 9/10 l (crumbled toasted brown butter cornflakes with gobs of marionberry jam) loving the jam aspect and the crunchy cornflakes. Few ice cream places can match this type of perfection. Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 9.5/10(Brewed amber ale malt with housemade cookie dough, thick malted fudge, and Jacobsen Sea Salt) was light on the salt. Wish it had more cookie dough but the ice cream is so smooth and so so so delicious I didn't even care.

Salt and Straw is a joy to my life to put it simply. Their Chocolate Gooey Brownie flavor is definitely a must try if you like chocolate and is unmatched if you get it in a waffle cone. This time I got a split cone with the Chocolate Gooey Brownie and the Honey Marshmallow Rocky Road, I know it 's a lot of chocolate, sue me. Both flavors were excellent and I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Their exotic flavors rotate out every month and have more interesting ingredients than your everyday ice cream shop. The staff is friendly and you can try multiple samples of their new flavors.
