Pacific Dining Car - Los Angeles

Our Pacific Health Auto Experience was all we hoped it would be. after a matinee in ahmanson we booked an early dinner and arrived earlier. we sat right away. the waiting staff was right there with menus, water and pretty fast, brot and butter. two of us started with salates, the food car and the caesar. both were excellent. for entrees, we chose the 8 unzen filet, rare, the knife and fork ribs, the huh dijon and the Chilean seebarsch. the filet was perfectly cooked to rare and delicious. the ribs were diligent, tasty and accompanied by side wind potatoes, which were wonderfully crispy on the outside and creamy inside. the hunch got the thumbs up from my wife and the sea bass was excellent (I know! don't order meeresfruit in a steakhouse! but this is the exception. on quinoa with finely chopped gurks and a delightful sauce, it was juicy and delicious. my wife and I each had a glass of wine that worked perfectly for this early meal. fairt prices and share there. for the desert we shared a chocolate sufflé, which was a great kapper to a great meal. the service was excellent overall. my waterglass was never empty (I am a big water drunk and we were well visited by all. they are located in their 99th business year and directly at the top.

We had a wonderful time! beautiful restaurant, excellent/friendly/fun service, very delicious food/steaks. we were not rushed and had a nice time!

Always a pleasure to celebrate at the pdc. service is noisy, eating is always excellent, and we always feel special eating here. the steaks are well seasoned and perfectly cooked. lobster bisque is authentic with big lobster bites. we're coming back!

The service was somewhat slow but the food and ambiance are wonderful for a romantic date.
