Mel's serves up delicious fish and seafood cooked to your preference. The portion sizes are generous for an individual, and their collard greens and hush puppies are standout sides. Additionally, they include some great garnishes like hot peppers and pickles. It's definitely worth it to support this Black-owned business!

My friend and I had heard fantastic reviews about Mel's but had never paid a visit until tonight, and we were certainly not let down. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. We placed our order, which took a little while to prepare, but it was definitely worth the wait. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes, and everything we tried was delicious and tasted fresh. I would highly recommend the fried filet of sole and the peach cobbler. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a wonderful dinner with your friends or family!

This is the best fish restaurant at Pier 39! The Ahi was absolutely amazing! The lobster tails were substantial, not those tiny ones you often find. The bread was outstanding, and the service was flawless. I will mention that the woman at the front with black hair wasn't the friendliest, but I understand that dealing with tourists all day can be challenging. Overall, I give it a 10/10 and will definitely return next year! Keep up the great work!

Seafood and the setting at this location is excellent. I give this place double thumbs up. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. They have a lot of good reviews for a reason.

Great Sunday dinner with a view of the harbor! Appetizers were delicious crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. Mixed grill entree was fantastic. Grilled shrimp, pacific cod, and grilled salmon. Would highly recommend Fog Harbor. The best meal we had during our visit.
