Definitely a hidden gem! The best marshmallow shakes and the only place that I know sells that shake! Service is good as well and it's a good place to just get a quick fix on ice cream

Absolutely the best soft serve place around. So many varieties, actually costs what it should, no frills walk up. We love this place and drive out of our way from ANYWHERE in LA. Yes, Bob's Freeze!

Despite the indifferent service from the worker (she was not very welcoming), I really enjoyed their ice cream. Soft served ice cream needs to be creamy, and thick and their ice cream hit the mark. On our way out of East LA to the IE I did a quick yelp search for some ice cream and found Bob's. I was gearing up for a +1hr ride back home and I needed some energy. Anything to get ice cream ha-ha. I ordered their banana sundae with strawberry syrup and everyone else got, a milkshake, and 2 chocolate dipped ice cream. I had read some reviews saying their ice cream was very runny so I feared they wouldn't be creamy but for our visit we were not disappointed. Glad we stopped by.
