First and foremost, the quality of the meat is top-notch compared to many pricier K-BBQ places. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the meat here. Secondly, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Even if they were to increase prices by 20%, I would still choose this place over an all-you-can-eat restaurant with lower quality meat. The owner, who serves alongside a few other staff members, is incredibly kind and attentive. She consistently checks on your table to refill side dishes, which are delicious, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—and they’re all you can eat! For me, the vegetable dishes are just as important as the meat, and if you ask for more, she’ll happily fill your plate with a big smile. I’ve noticed that this place is much cleaner than other all-you-can-eat spots I’ve been to, which often have greasy ceilings and slippery floors. The owner clearly prioritizes the comfort and experience of her guests. The Korean menu items are reasonably priced and generously portioned, making them flavorful alternatives if you’re not in the mood for meat. If you're looking for a place that isn’t just about stuffing yourself at an AYCE restaurant, I highly recommend trying this one. Plus, their soju and other Korean liquors are much cheaper as well!
On my most recent visit, I ordered beef again, but a staff member (not the owner) mentioned that I must have been spending the most money since I started coming there. Confused, I asked for clarification. Regardless of whether I ordered pork belly or beef, I always grilled my meat and ordered alcohol to make the experience more enjoyable. I considered myself a regular and consistently tipped over 20%. However, during my last visit, they claimed there were no available seats, despite there being empty ones. A male staff member told us we would need to wait for 15 minutes, but when I indicated that I was already aware, a female staff member, who seemed unsure if she even recognized me, rudely suggested that I was just there for the pork belly. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I definitely ordered beef on my last visit, and while I understand the affection for pork belly, it was disappointing to be reduced to that label, especially after two years of patronage. It felt disrespectful to be called "pork belly" when I have a name of my own. I was upset by this experience, especially given my long-standing relationship with the restaurant. I had previously given them a five-star review a year ago, as it was a place I enjoyed visiting alone. However, after this incident, I will not be returning. If you do visit, I advise against ordering pork belly; you may find yourself facing unfair treatment.
This is one of the best restaurants that you can get good service in Korean town.
This place is solid for a good kbbq and great service at reasonable price. Not an ayce joint but they do have combos which will satisfy your meat cravings. Oh, and their neng myun (cold beef broth noodles) are surprisingly tasty. Not too many people know about this place for they don't advertise. Their soju is only 9.99 compared to some place that charge upto $15. Been here 3 times already and I'm not done.
