Big Rock Grill - Lookout Mountain

Great food and the portions were very decent sized. I couldn't finish mine because there was so much. You get your money's worth eating here and it was very fast service.

We stopped here for lunch before we went on the Rock City Garden tour. We had a burger/fries, Chicken sandwich/fries and Chicken Tenders/fries. The food was theme park like. The price was reasonable. Just not anything that screams delicious. I would say that this place is good for a quick meal but we did have to wait a good 10 minutes for our food and we were the only people in the restaurant. The workers were nice but I would hold out for the Cafe 7 restaurant next time. Plus the view at the Cafe 7 is right at the overlook.

Just make sure you know this restaurant is only for inside the park which is no big deal if you are going to the park. But there aren 't any places to eat on the mountain and you can 't just stop by to eat here without paying for park admission. I don 't know how the food is cuz I didn 't want to buy tix just to eat in the restaurant. I 've been to Rock City and I recommend it, just know the restaurant is INSIDE the park.

If you are planning a visit to Rock Coty, definitely stop in at the grill for lunch. The staff here is super friendly. We walked in right as they opened for the day and were greeted immediately. I was surprised at how fast our order was ready, considering we are a family of 5. The food is good, not like other quick service places at tourist attractions. I recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich, soooo good. The atmosphere is really cool because there is a huge boulder in the middle of the dining room.

Food prices are similar to average burger places. Good portions and well made food. Messed up our order but took the effort to make it right. If your visiting Rock City and you need a bite drop in.
