Historic Cigars Longwood

Really great neighborhood lounge with some very friendly people, certainly enjoyed my time there!

I was greeted by the lovely Kim who was willing to help me. It quickly became evident that she didn’t know cigars. She tried to recommend something to me but I knew the information wasn’t accurate. Eventually she ended up asking a gentleman playing dominos several times for recommendations. He recommended one of their camaroon wrapper house cigars. It was a good smoke! Several customers asked me who was attending the bar because the staff seemed to be splitting duties between the bar next door and weren’t always available. Two of the lighters weren’t filled when she tried to light my cigar. I ended up lighting my own. I dont think they expected alot of customers and in doing so did not staff accordingly. Not trying to complain but I hope it helps this establishment stay open for a long time. I could say more but I think I have given a good description of my time their.

I’m a regular at Ol Times. Someone saw me smoking a cigar and told me about this place. Today I came by for the first time and I have a few things to say about this place . First it’s a nice place, not big but they also have a patio with a food truck. I was greeted by a young lady who didn’t have any idea about cigars. I asked her for specific brands which are pretty well known in the cigar culture. She had no idea. I assume it was her first day or maybe first month but very clueless. I own a business and I know that if I hire someone who has no experience at all, she would be shadowed. As far as the inventory. Very limited. The place had a nice lounge but too close to the front entrance. When you’re enjoying a stick, you wanna be away from the world as much as possible. I think if they at least stock up some more inventory, they will get at least 3 stars. The one disappointing issue was that the website states you can “walk inside the humidor” . NO HUMIDOR. If there was one, the young lady who works there did not tell me there was one. Well that’s all I have to say. I don’t think I will return. Ol’’time cigars has a much larger and better inventory, the lounge is in a perfect spot and whether it’s your first time or a local, you’re always greeted properly. Good luck guys. Hope this review reaches your ears and maybe will assist you in making some minor changes/upgrades. By the way, I still purchased 2 cigars out of respect.

Place is incredible! Great place for everyday of the week, fantastic ownership and staff.
