Crystal House - Long Eaton

I have been a patron of Crystal House for several years now, and I must say that tonight's meal was the best I have ever had. I ordered the chow mein, chips with curry sauce, and a pancake roll, while my wife had the same dish. It was a pleasure to eat and perfectly cooked. A big thank you to the chef for the delicious meal. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you, Kew Maxwell.

This restaurant is still the best place for Chinese food. It has consistently been the best and continues to deliver great dining experiences with excellent service.

Always have Chinese from here . And normally lovely But bit of a let down tonight . Not sure if different chef tonight but not to it's usual standard .

I've been a customer since the fantastic Willow Tree days. The food has been going downhill since it changed hands and I've been going there less and less. Tonight was the last straw. They've changed the curry recipe beyond recognition. My curry wasn't the slightest bit spicy and had a very strong tomato taste. Just like how you'd imagine Italians would make a curry. Yuk. Nothing like it used to be. The final straw? They've changed the pancake rolls from the big delicious beauties they used to be, to awful thin things. I chucked most of my dinner away. Never again. Two stars for old times sake only.

I was reluctantly taken to Eaton a year ago, but I ended up trying this place and now I come back regularly. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty, and it is prepared quickly. The prices are also very reasonable for Chinese food. The staff is friendly and polite. I will definitely be coming back again.
