Mcloone's Pier House - Long Branch

My mother and I had lunch here on a weekday, and it was just average. We've been visiting for years, but the food didn't taste the same as it used to. We always order the crab tower, which was good, but it didn't seem as fresh as it had in the past. Perhaps the hot weather affected the meal, making it less enjoyable. On the bright side, the service was friendly, and the view is always fantastic.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. Making a reservation was straightforward, and they offer seating both indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious and served quickly. They were also quite flexible with the estimated 90-minute time limit we were given. We had a great table right by the window, providing stunning views of the beach. I highly recommend trying each of their seafood dishes; they are exceptional!

McLoone's is an excellent spot for a nice dinner outdoors with a view of the beach at Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ. The service was attentive, and our waitress was very pleasant. We started with the Jersey flatbread as an appetizer, which was delicious. For our main courses, we chose the crab cakes, a burger, penne vodka, and a salmon salad. The prices were on the higher side, but the food was quite enjoyable overall.

Nice place in a very busy area of Pierre Village. Surprisingly, the service is fast and the food is fresh. The presentation is also very nice. Visit a visit, especially if you are sitting near the window and enjoying the views of the sea.

Service is horrendous No acknowledgement what so ever We sat down, gave our orders, got our food, but no utensils or plates. Was difficult to find our waiter to take away our finished dishes, there was no space on our table. Took a long time to put in another drink order. Had to wave him down so many time to ask for check but he was like tunnel vision not looking out way. Food was good but the drinks were fantastic. It was a Saturday, yes they were swamped. But a little acknowledgement would be nice I 'll be right with you but nothing. Live music was so beautiful! It was very nice vibes. Please train your staff common courtesy. I would have left a two or three star review. I believe the staff attitudes can be changed and properly trained.
