Willmore Wine - Long Beach

This charming wine bar offers a laid-back atmosphere and a sense of community. The walls are adorned with local art available for purchase, and there are lovely tables both inside and outside. The menu features a selection of small bites that complement their wines perfectly. The staff is eager to provide recommendations, and if you're fortunate, someone might even play a tune on the piano. I will definitely return!

This is the best wine bar in Long Beach, hands down. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the wine selection is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

I visited this restaurant during the First Fridays event in December 2023. It had a cozy and warm atmosphere. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay and a nice Belgian beer, and everyone who worked there was really friendly. The ambiance was enhanced by a pianist playing in the background, which I really enjoyed. I have no complaints—it's a great spot to relax and enjoy good company. I loved the vibe! Just a heads-up: if you're not a San Francisco 49ers fan, you might not appreciate this place as much since the owner is a huge fan! LOL.

I tried the charcuterie plate alongside the monthly wine flight. The cheeses were excellent, as were the meats. I always run out of crackers, but that's only because I like to eat a few plain ones to cleanse my palate between tasting the different cheeses and wines! The wine flight included an Italian white, a California red, and an Italian Chianti—all of which were delightful. I definitely plan to return. They also have a wine club for about $65 a month, which includes two bottles and a pickup party that features substantial appetizers and a complimentary glass of wine that isn't part of your selection for that month. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of a wine bar in a lovely location!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. It has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff make you feel right at home. We've been visiting about once a month for the past year, and Ernie, the owner and sommelier, remembers our names, little details about us, and is always eager to hear updates about our lives. This week, we came in for help selecting wine pairings for a dinner party we're hosting, and Ernie provided fantastic suggestions. He's such a wonderful person. The wine selection is impressive as well; we particularly enjoy the monthly flight selections. My wife and I each order one and discuss our favorites, what pairings we think would work well, and we usually leave with a bottle. The food is also outstanding! It's the best pastrami I've ever tasted, and my wife adores their Thai Peanut Chicken Pasta. I highly recommend this place—10/10! They also have live music on most weekends!
