Louisiana Fried Chicken - Long Beach

The fried chicken meat tasted good (FYI: the batter has a kick to it). The fries did not feel fresh and were way overcooked. The fried shrimp/scallops/fish tasted ok but I was not a fan of the batter. They also sale raw fish, shrimp and scallop. The place looked like it needed some cleaning behind the front desk. They have a sign that there was no major violations found from the city.

The chicken is super juicy and crunchy on the outside,the fries are good and the fried fish on point. You can get it cooked or by the pound.Parking: The parking can be a bit hard to find since they share with other 4 stores.

Who wants to stand in a HOT kitchen fish all day? Not this chick! This place is legit and 2 blocks from my house. Baked oysters? YES PLEASE, my hubby loves the roasted catfish, delicious roasted red snapper. Oh, and the Koleslaw is on the point, some put his slime, not Louisiana. It is so simple, insignificant even, and I guess they take the time to do this simple thing, RIGHT! Thank you for having a FRIEDEN FISH!

I've coming to this place as a kid (2001). Never a disappointment when I come here im always satisfied. The best catfish on the North Side of Long Beach Or shouldi say long beach in general.....Norf Norf.
