I love this place. I have been coming here for almost 20 yrs. I have visited other restaurants in Little India in Artesia, San Diego and have been to India, and Kamal’s Palace has great food. Of all the places I have tried it is one of the few that does not give me heartburn. I hope this helps!
Hands down the best Indian food in Southern California! The dishes are flavorful, fresh, and not overly oily. If you're a vegetarian, you have to try the vegetable Korma—it's absolutely delicious!
Considering the quality of the food, this is a proper diamond in the buffet rough for $17. Highly recommend if you're a fan of Indian cuisine. The flavors are very modestly muted for the American palette but is still packed full of spices and seasoned accordingly. Bonus for the waterfront seating that's available and the garlic naan they give at the beginning too.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was blown away! I had no idea it was even here since it's tucked away, but it truly is a hidden gem. We came with a big group and sampled numerous dishes, and I can honestly say that nothing was disappointing.
