Belmont Brewing Company - Long Beach

Katy was wonderful! Sitting on the patio was fantastic, especially on a pleasant, sunny November day. The burger was excellent, and the half soup/salad combo was also really tasty!

This restaurant is a great spot for dinner, and they have an impressive selection of beers. I tried the beer sampler and found the Strawberry Blonde beer to be quite unique—definitely worth sampling! However, the tomato soup was overly sweet for my taste, so we decided to return it. I wouldn't recommend it. On the positive side, the waitstaff was very accommodating and handled our request with ease. The fish and chips and garlic bread were excellent! I’ve heard great things about the Lobster Bisque, though I didn’t get a chance to try it.

Our server was exceptional! She was attentive without being intrusive, and her professional demeanor was complemented by a warm and pleasant attitude. On the other hand, the young woman at the front could benefit from finding a different job, as she seemed disinterested, avoided eye contact, and appeared quite unhappy.

Probably my 25th time here.Food, Service, Ambiance all excellent. Prices are quite fair. Short waits. Beautiful view of Long Beach Harbor. I bring out of town visitors for the view! Hart

Chris was a perfect server. He knew what he was doing, he knew his menu, he had the perfect recommendation for my husband's somewhat obscure beer preference. When we ordered, he made a suggestion for our vegetarians (myself and husband). He was on top of everything. Our friends ordered clam chowder, garlic bread, and a salad and enjoyed it. We ordered the fig and bacon flatbread without bacon. It was so yummy!!! I was really impressed. I don't know how it is with bacon, but honestly... it's pretty perfect without it. We also ordered the Belmont Burger (at Chris's aforementioned advice). It was also absolutely incredible. We got a side of fries, which were really good (a little salty if you're sensitive, but there's some kind of seasoning salt they use. It tastes good).Last thing to mention is the view from their patio! Look at that sunset.Really, it's the perfect place to hang out with good friends and have a couple of good beers and eat some (surprisingly) good food with great service. 10/10
