Basil's Cafe - Long Beach

The food was excellent, and the service was attentive and prompt. Although the restaurant wasn't very crowded during our visit, there were plenty of takeout orders being picked up.

We had a fantastic experience! After driving by so often, we finally decided to stop in. The appetizers were excellent; the spring rolls were huge, and the peanut sauce was the perfect complement, as always. The steamed dumplings were also quite tasty. The Tom Ka Gai (chicken soup with coconut and cilantro) was delicious and very fresh. The Pad See Ew was a wonderful medley of flavors and perfectly cooked. If you haven't been here yet, you definitely need to give it a try!

The first thing I want to highlight is the fantastic staff. They took my order with great politeness and promptly brought it out to my car. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, which is one of my favorite dishes at Thai restaurants, and I can be quite particular about it. I opted for the extra spicy version and was pleasantly surprised to receive a small container of crushed pepper and spices to customize it just the way I like. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the sauce was simply delightful. Basil's Cafe certainly lived up to the hype! I found myself wanting to clean the takeout tray with my fingers! My wife and I frequently drive from Biloxi, and I highly recommend this place!

Wow. We heard amazing things about this place and finally made it here. Absolutely delicious. You must try the ginger garlic chicken wings. We're definitely coming back.

My future wife and I thoroughly enjoy exotic foods, with one of our favorites being Vietnamese. We make a point to seek out new places we haven't tried and sample their options. Basils Cafe is hands down, without a shadow if a doubt THE best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The INCREDIBLE, robust flavors in every dishe is unbeatable. The Thai-Viet fusion is also amazing offering more choices. We will definitely be returning for more of this absolutely amazing dining experience.
