Aguas Way - Long Beach

Great daily specials here and a very cool set up they have here, obviously covid has hindered the indoor and outdoor dining experience but you can definitely see the potential here for a cool relaxing lunch.

I would rate this 3.5, Pretty Average. Asada Torta: Bread was nice and soft with a good toasted outside. Asada was too fatty, okay quality, and very salty. Their toast online ordering has an option for Guac Sauce? Didn't really see any on the torta. Wasreally hoping to add some if possible. Paid an extra .50 for beans, no beans on the torta. Aguas frescas were pretty good butalmost yoo sweet. Had high hopes, but it was all in all a pretty average experience with some misses.

I usually order takeout and get the chicken flautas. They are always fresh and have that authentic Mexican flavor that I really enjoy.

I’m giving Aguas a solid 5 stars! When we arrived, we were impressed by how clean the inside was. We ordered the special of 4 potato tacos and some nachos. As someone who is very particular about flavors, I was trying to pin down the taste of the carne asada/steak that came with the nachos. The staff was incredibly accommodating and served it on a separate plate so I could taste it on my own. It was perfect! We sat in the back, which was really charming. When I went to throw away some trash, I stumbled upon an even more amazing area. It featured a garden, great ambiance, a giant TV, and a large Connect 4 game. We will definitely be returning! The nachos were priced at $10, and they were more than enough for a meal. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous!

This is a wonderful restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I'm really glad I decided to stop by and give it a try. They have a special menu item almost every day of the week, and while Monday is currently lacking one, I'm sure they’ll come up with something. Regardless, I definitely plan to return. The tacos al pastor and shrimp tacos were both excellent!
