Nates Shawarma & Grill - London

We were craving Shawarma and gyro on Sunday morning before leaving London so made our way downtown to the only Shawarma shop open at that time of the morning. It's located in the downtown market place. I was very disappointed that there was no gyro that morning. My daughter and I ordered chicken skewer plate and chicken Shawarma plate and shared the meat. It was delicious and very garlicky. The spicy humus was very spicy. Meal was good.

They have excellent breakfast sandwiches to go. Service is so friendly and the food is great. I never bother with fast food places because Nate's is way better for the same price.

Save your money and go elsewhere. This should not be considered shawarma. No spit going with meat on it, no flavor to the meet. Will not be back.

Stopped here for Breakfast - It's in the Covent Garden Market . A decent enough Omelett and the coffee was good. Okay for a quick breakfast on the go. Service was good.

I've tried to like Nate's it just always falls short. They have a great a selection of food that all seem good. problem is they are not, it is all very bland and underwhelming. I've tried at least 5 different things from the menu and I'm always regretting what I end up with. my last 2 purchases where the kafta plate and the shawarma plate. The kafta was bland and full of spinach the salad was terrible, the rice and hummas saved my lunch. The shawarma was awful I mean truly terrible the chicken looked like shredded chicke out of a can, the rice on this meal was mushy luckily the salad was decent. If you are at the market there are so many places that are better do yourself a favor and dont stop here.
