Chester's Chicken & Fish - London

This guy is the most enthusiastic and dedicated person I've ever encountered. He truly wants you to enjoy your food. And let me tell you, the food is delicious. We appreciate the focus on health. We would come back for the fish alone.

Our family decided to have a potluck at this restaurant based on the recommendation of someone who said the food was delicious. However, when we arrived, the place seemed empty and the owner did not seem pleased with our large order. Despite some of us being unimpressed with the food, I personally found the dough too thick and overcooked in some dishes. It seems like they may benefit from educating their customers on what constitutes good food, rather than just serving what is popular.

Chesters is an independent restaurant. the owner is super friendly and eating is excellent. the prices are very reasonable.

We ordered the eight-piece chicken and fries with gravy for takeout. The staff was friendly and the service seemed quick. However, when we got home, we realized that the chicken we ordered was overcooked and cold. The skin was a dark chestnut brown and all pieces were dark meat, which was not what we expected. It seemed like the chicken had been left sitting out and reheated quickly, possibly in a deep fryer. The fries, while a generous portion, were undercooked and we had to fry them ourselves. We may consider giving this restaurant another chance in the future, as it is conveniently located near us.

Every time were come here were treated like family. My son especially enjoys the poutine. It is amazing! The owner is great he remembers each customer and always has a kind word or joke to share. The food is always fresh and you won't be...disappointed
