Authentic yet hipster, Som Saa is famous for its whole deep fried sea bass and its banana-flavored ice cream dessert.
I came here with my good friend and fellow foodie after she insisted that we eat here rather than anywhere else.
I came here with some friends and we got the lunch tasting menu with some add ins. Make sure you ask for a vegan menu it’s separate. We had so much food we didn’t know what to do with all of it! All of it was delicious and so filling, but there was a lack of vegan protein. The Thai curry was incredible! I’d highly recommend coming here. The food is pricy (about £50 each), but it’s good. Friendly service, nice setting. Updated from previous review on 2022 09 09
Busy with a gastropub feel, this contemporary Thai offering (which isn't fully vegan hence maximum 4 stars permissible) dazzled with a wondrous tasting menu that retailed £32 per head. Beautiful in both appearance and spiced arrangement and ingredients, we opened with delicate honeysuckle flowers tempura and moved through heavenly gears of crispy deep fried mushrooms, a fiery papaya salad with cashews, a divinely silky soup and ended with sticky rice and mango in coconut cream. Rarely had better food in may Thai visits.
