Cafe Monico - London

As always, Cafe Monico was excellent food, service and value for money. It was a bizarre situation when my friend and I just visited before the government imposed the different coronavirus restrictions and I think we were the only customers. It was extremely quiet. I hope for Cafe Monico and all employees return normality, soon I will certainly return as soon as I can!

The service was good and delicious. When we arrived, we got a table upstairs. Mum and I have mobility impairments to sit down. It wasn't a problem. The service was prompt and employees polite. Mom wanted an omelette and we were glad it was in the menu. Mama loved her food and finished it. I had lemon sole and one side of beans. I needed the beans because the fish had nothing to do with it. Both were delicious.

The Cafe Monico is very convenient for the Gielgud Theatre and the Prix Fixe menu good value for London. I'd eat here again if I'm on Shaftesbury Avenue next time.

The croque M was a little disappointing it's wasn't grilled enough on top. The salmon starter didn't have enough going on. Maybe 4 pieces of cucumber to alot of salmon but not much dressing could have another element a crisp perhaps.
