Waited about 20 minutes to be seated. After we were seated, we waited about 30-40 minutes for our drinks and appetizers, while other diners that came in after us were dining well before we even had our dinner soup and salad. Our server lacked hospitality and seemed inexperienced….we had to ask him to clear our soup and bread dishes from the table, didn’t offer to refill drinks AND had the audacity to look offended when we asked. The pasta was so bland and the sauce completely flavorless, I’d rather go to Olive Garden and waste my money there instead. The only positives from our dining experience tonight were the clam chowder soup and ribeye steak! Might be worth trying again for those two things but I really hope they improve the wait times (considering there was hardly anyone there) and their food service quality.
I'm new to the area but this is the best restaurant in lompoc by far, and Rine makes the best Tomato bisque at mommas cafe, I'm a cook at Jalama burger and this is my first go to in lompoc! Thanks Rine!
I tried to eat here. I waited for 20 minutes, and no one ever came to acknowledge me. I stood at the entrance near hostess stand. There were others coming in and sitting where possible to get seated. Maybe I'll try again.
From my understanding, this establishment once boasted an impressive reputation as a restaurant. However, my recent dining experience on April 26 left much to be desired. The dishes lacked flavor and any semblance of presentation; my pasta appeared as if it had been hastily scraped from another plate. The chicken parmesan was disappointingly dry, thin, difficult to cut and overcooked, making it difficult to swallow. The waitress, a tall, somewhat blonde woman, seemed disinterested and inconvenienced by our presence, as evidenced by her reluctance to provide everyone at our table water. To exacerbate matters, two out of three of us fell ill that night. Moreover, the atmosphere was tainted by the audible complaints of staff members expressing exhaustion from working excessively long shifts, possibly exacerbated by the recent passing of one of the owners. While this news is saddening, it does not excuse the fact that I spent over $160 on subpar food, indifferent service, and subsequently fell ill, an outcome that is simply unacceptable.
