Frontera Mex-mex Grill (loganville)

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, and Maggie is the standout server here. The food is at least as good, if not better, than other places in the area. Everything I've tried has been either good or great.

The area where we were seated was freezing, almost like being in Antarctica. However, the food and service were excellent. The pizza was delicious, and the rice was great too.

Disappointing. The prices have gone up astronomically since the last time we were here and in equal measure, the portions have been reduced. I don't mind paying more if one or the other hasn't changed. Most disappointing was the lack of service. Our waitress took our drink orders, brought drinks and took our orders, and we never saw her again until she brought the check. We had to flag down 2 different people to ask for more salsa, extra napkins, and water refills. The food isn't what it use to be either. My husband had 3 a la carte tacos and refried beans. His brisket taco and fish taco were great, but the shrimp taco was literally 2 pieces of grilled shrimp on a corn tortilla and nothing else. I had steak fajitas with charro beans. Everything tasted good, but the amount of steak was disproportionate to the amount of onions and green peppers and the price for the meal. I've paid less for a good steak at a steakhouse. We each ordered a margarita and when they were served, we were told they were out of orange liqueur so they added more sour which means we paid more for less alcohol. We usually prefer local Mexican places over chain Tex Mex...and we remembered why last night.

I had a disappointing experience at Frontera. The food was just average, and the prices have skyrocketed! They no longer accept competitor coupons, and every dish has gone up by $8 compared to last month. Paying $17.49 for a quesadilla and $13 for a taco is ridiculous! It’s no surprise the restaurant was so empty. I'll be returning to LaBamba or Cielo Blue instead, where the food is excellent and reasonably priced.

Well all I can say is that was alot of yum. We do not always have good luck when we get a delivery outside of Beyhlehem area but we did this time. We ordered the queso dip with beef.. nachos and the chicken strips for my furboy. Itarrived fast the food was hot and they actually added extra chips. Only thing missing was utensils. Otherwise #1 service.
