Purple Snapper Dive Resort - Logan

After spending one night at another resort on the island, which was much different despite being a similar price, we ended up at this restaurant. The beds were located in beach huts equipped with mosquito nets and bathrooms. The staff were friendly and everything was kept clean. We also went on a dive with the resort, which was my first ever. The instructor, a lady from Spain, was patient and a great teacher. While the prices may be a bit higher compared to other places, the resort was in the process of renovating and restoring when we visited. I would be interested in returning to see the changes they have made.

This restaurant is terrible. The ambiance is nice, but the staff are clueless, with only one unhelpful lady working there. There is no chef to ask for assistance, just the same unhelpful lady. The food is mediocre and the presentation is unappealing. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This restaurant is not the same as it used to be. We visited this resort based on a friend's recommendation and were extremely disappointed. The food was of poor quality and overpriced. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7 o'clock, but the cook never arrived until 7:30 or sometimes even 8 o'clock. We had to call the cook for lunch every day while we waited. Until it gets a new owner, I will be avoiding this place.

After they never stayed in the purple snapper room, yet dive with them, this review applies only to the restaurant: simply set, it is terrible. I have been to malapascua several times and ate at this place again. it was nothing to write home...but I had a vague memory that it was in order (maybe due to the cheap and very generously dosed around and koss this time, however, I was so appalled by the quality of the foods that here I write my first review on tripadvisor. until they read positive reviews that show that something has been done to improve this condition of affairs, please do not eat here: they will simply feel at the end to be demolished and disappointed. the so-called best burger on the island turned out to be a patty of cheap chop meat (tendons and who knows what is still included), between two pieces of dense brot, which could only be old or simply defrosted. I am completely aware that the cheese here on the philippines has a wider definition than in my home country france, but should we not deliver the prices of international prices for the same? a gooey orange sauce will never be in my books. apropos deception nebula, the bruschetta' and hummus turned out to be a few crushed cockerbsen with discs of margarine shattered toast?( .. and the mango shake (which was labored by the workers after we had denied an pineapple shake that had a little milky, much too much sugar, but not a trace of to round off everything, the sand-covered floor had thought us much more of a catworm box than it made a beach; but perhaps this had something to do with the hoards of the flying, who are wandering around? again: I have been living in this country for almost two years, I love many things here and not least eating: balut, grilled chicken gut, they call it. I would certainly not call me squeal when it comes to food and employment, and my taste buds are far from the top class. I accept, however, a clear difference for false accusations and prices that do not match the quality of the sale. the lower line is that I felt abandoned this place unhealthy (not to say badness) and cheated, and I do not wish that to anyone who simply seeks a good, pleasant eating.

The only thing I would say is that you can get food cheaper elsewhere, although as they were in the process of renovating and re-establishing the place when we were there, I would be interested to return and see the changes since we visited.
