フィードバックを提供するThere was a time (1990’s-2000’s)when I would drive to Llano just to eat at Cooper’s. Thought we’d give it another go after avoiding it the last few years due to a bad experience. But the fact is Cooper’s just isn’t what it used to be. There’s no effort in truly offering a Fine Texas BBQ Experience. The current management running the restaurant appears to have opted for expedience at the cost of quality. The meat does not appear to actually be smoked anymore. (No wood in sight). They just pull it from heating cabinets and throw it on the pit and let customers think it’s traditional bbq. Chicken and turkey looked anemic/pale, no smoked flavor. Pinto beans were lukewarm. Young man behind the counter offered to slice meat but just cut it in chunks. I don’t think he knew how to slice it. Restrooms were a bit dirty. I read some of the more positive reviews. Just don’t see it. Disappointing overall.
The best brisket in the world. This is my fourth time coming from Germany and I love it more each time. Super authentic, delicious, and with real Southern Texas flair. No frills but full of it and really cool! Absolute recommendation! Be sure to come and eat brisket and beef rib. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Cooper's BBQ in Llano is where the heart of Texas beats in harmony with the symphony of smoky goodness. As the original Cooper's, this bastion of barbecue exudes an authenticity and mastery that is as deeply rooted as the mesquite trees used to stoke its fires. The dry rub is an alchemy of spices that only the wizards of Cooper's could conjure, while their Beef Ribs are the epitome of barbecue perfection. Tender, meaty, and imbued with a smoky magic, they are the stuff of legend. To say that they serve the best dry rub and beef ribs in Texas would be an understatement; they are quite possibly the finest this side of the Milky Way. One must not overlook the tantalizing medley of desserts. The cobblers are the quintessence of homestyle indulgence, while the banana pudding is a luscious, velvety dream. Each spoonful is reminiscent of a cherished heirloom recipe, passed down through generations. The staff, guardians of this Texas treasure, are ceaselessly affable, embodying the Southern hospitality that the Lone Star State is celebrated for. As a seasoned patron, I am continually welcomed with open arms and familiar smiles. This place is more than a mere eatery, it is an experience steeped in tradition and taste. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or, like myself, a devoted returnee, you will find yourself entranced by this Texan culinary shrine. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant and kids menu
