Vitacare - Ljubljana

I found everything to be well-organized with a wide selection at this restaurant. However, their focus seems to be more on healthy and organic food rather than vegan options. I was disappointed in the limited selection of plant yogurts, vegan cheese, and salami. Most of the options were brands that can be found elsewhere, such as Wheaty and My Love My Life. Despite this, I did find some unique vegan items that are not widely available elsewhere. They also carry cleaning supplies and a good variety of vitamins. I was pleasantly surprised to see items from the dog food brand Yarrah, and my dog enjoyed their vegan pate. Prices are reasonable and comparable to Kalcek. Overall, a decent place with room for improvement in their vegan offerings.

Located just outside of Ljubljana at the BTC center, this store offers a wide selection of affordably priced dishes. In addition to vegan fare, they also have fresh vegetables and a variety of organic products available.

Vitacare has lots of vegan options and is the go to place if you're a veg'n in Ljubljana. I was preparing for Thanksgiving and they had everything I need except the infamous Tofurkey. I found great seitan alternatives though.
