Leblanc's Cajun Kitchen - Livingston

I am from louisiana and I am very picky when it comes to cajun cuisine. I enjoyed everything I rated there.

Delicious Cajun Square! boudin balls are big and crispy outside with the right apron! he had the pick two: wels garnel that were large portions.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed due to a kitchen fire. The owner is insured and is in the process of rebuilding, but it will take some time. The Cajun food at this establishment was fantastic and will be greatly missed until they reopen.

The food at LeBlancs was a mixed bag. My initial impression was that the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with Country Creole decor that leaned towards rustic. Ordering from the chalkboard menu was simple, and they offered all the basic foods you would expect. I enjoyed the Chickenworstgummibo and the Boudan balls, and the fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly. However, I had some issues with the waiter. They seemed inexperienced, not very knowledgeable about the menu, and were often preoccupied with their steam cigarettes. The restaurant itself was a bit messy, with dirty tables and empty spice bottles that needed attention. Thankfully, the owner and a helpful server saved the day. Overall, the food was good, but the staff could use some training on customer service.

I love this place! You stand in line to place your order, and they always bring it to you with very generous portions. The food is amazing and they have great customer service. Highly recommend!
