You don’t have to place your food order at the beginning; if you suddenly crave fries, a shake, or a full meal during the film, just write down your request and hit the service button at your table. They discreetly come to take your order without any hassle. I particularly love their boozy shakes for those moments when I'm not really hungry but want a little indulgence. My go-to is The Grasshopper, a delightful mint chocolate shake with a kick. The seating consists of recliners, which always keeps me comfy. I also appreciate their strict no texting or talking policy, as distractions can really take me out of the movie experience. I enjoy this location as well as the one in Westminster, although I haven't had the opportunity to check out the Sloan's Lake location yet.
The customer service was outstanding, making for a truly enjoyable experience. The staff was very attentive, and both the food and atmosphere before the film were exceptional.
**Theaters:** Alamo features seven comfortable screens with different seating capacities. Theater #1 is the smallest, while Theater #7 can seat approximately 200 people. We watched our film in Theater #3, which felt quite roomy! **Seating:** The seating consists of plush recliners, each equipped with a cup holder on the left and a tray table for your food on the right. You can recline the seat using a button located on the inside of the right armrest. If you're looking for extra legroom, I suggest opting for a seat in the first row of the elevated area. **Menu:** A menu is conveniently located on a shelf just below your tray. It offers a variety of options, including appetizers, sandwiches, salads, desserts, beer, wine, and mixed drinks. You'll also find a pen and paper for taking notes on your order if you decide to order more later, as well as a button to summon your server. They have a standard menu, but they occasionally feature special event menus. **Service:** The service was quick and friendly. Our server arrived shortly after we were seated. While she was entering our order on a tablet, another server brought our drinks even before she finished taking our order. **Food:** We ordered a salad, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, a pretzel, coke, wine, and M&Ms. As depicted in the picture, the portions were generous and the food was delicious. **Movie:** We watched "Oppenheimer," shown in Sony Digital 4K, and the sound system was outstanding. Although the movie was scheduled to start at 2 PM, it began about 15 minutes later, typical for most theaters due to trailers. **Hours of Operation:** The exact hours can be a bit confusing. On Saturdays and Sundays, they serve brunch and open early. Generally, they open for the first scheduled movie of the day, which is usually in the mid-afternoon. **Special Events:** In addition to regular film screenings, they host special events each month, which are listed on a calendar available in the lobby. For a unique and enjoyable movie experience, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!
If you are only going to accept orders for 1/3 the length of the movie, you need to say that right away. There should be a clear policy, written right on top of the menu or better yet explained by the waiters, on the time frame you have for ordering. Acting like you never took the slip with my order and then showing up with everyone's checks nearly an hour before the end of the movie, is not the move. If you want the food you order, be sure to put it in right away, otherwise it simply won't come. PS the popcorn is huge, but they provide no way for you to take any home. Can't imagine how much they throw away as a result.
This was my first time here and I thought they only played indie films but I was pleasantly surprise they also play blockbuster films like Elemental and Barbie coming soon. It's a small theater so easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and people actually clean the theater. It's pretty chill theater and tickets were only $11 on a Saturday afternoon so a lot cheaper than what I've been paying at the bigger theater chains. I really enjoyed the montage they put before the film about movies with similar themes in the movie you are watching. Much better than the ads. Popcorn was just meh. It comes with a lot of popcorn and the the top layer was good but as you migrate towards the end of the bowl, there's just a lack of butter and salt. It is bottomless but don't get it if you're watching a film alone like me. Could not finish it.
