China House - Littlestown

It’s unacceptable to allow a disabled veteran to be treated poorly in your establishment; if that’s the case, I won't be dining there either! What a shame!

I've never had any issues with the food or service at China House. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There was one instance where our order was slightly mixed up, but it wasn't a big deal and we let it go, especially since they were busy at the time. I believe it was just a mix-up with the type of rice we ordered. We've been dining there since they opened, and the food and service have always been excellent.

We called into China House to place an order to go. The lady who answered the phone took my order incorrectly. We ordered fried rice with our meal and the lady who answered the phone obviously thought we ordered white rice because when we got home that's what we got. We called them to let them know, the lady who answered the phone never apologized, instead she argued and told me that!s what I ordered. She finally asked what she can do. I told her I would like a free meal next time, she said she couldn't, do that, she put the owner on the phone and said we can get a pint of free fried next time. We told them. We didn't want that because the meal we order comes with fried rice. We suggested that we get a free meal, they were so animate about it and treated us so rude. We have been ordering food from this restaurant on a weekly basis for 3 years. We could not believe how we were treated.

This little restaurant has the best food and very friendly staff. They use fresh ingredients and the food is always abundant and hot. A great deal for little money!
