Kontiki African - Little Rock

Kontiki is an amazing restaurant! My husband and I got married on January 1, and we really wanted to accompany both cultures. It helped, Kontiki has some amazing dishes that all our friends loved. We had Oxtails, Beed Stew and Jollof Rice! When I say the food was fresh and hot!! The owners have accommodated us where they would normally be closed! Take the first time and it was full of taste. Slowly cooked with lots of love and spice! Jollof, Fufu, Jerk and Oxtail are all amazing

My first African court experience and it was amazing! I had the Okra soup with fufu! It is certainly an acquired taste, but I would definitely have it again. It was also an additional bonus that the owners were so nice when I picked up my food. I'll go again!

The food was GREAT! I'm going here all the time. The cattle chicken cowtail is fire! Someone who doesn't agree to lie flat.

The rice akara and plantains were tasty, but the meat skewers and pepper soup were truly outstanding. The pepper soup had a strong kick, yet it was wonderfully seasoned. All the main dishes were expertly prepared, bursting with West African spices. While I enjoyed the flavor of the okra, I’m not a fan of its slippery texture in stews. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was friendly, making it an enjoyable dining experience overall. If you love ginger, definitely try the ginger beer—it’s much stronger than the ones I've bought from Kroger. I will definitely be back!
